Union Parishad is the oldest local government institution in the country. It is the closest government to the people at the grassroots level. The information technology based center 'Union Digital Centre' established in the Union Parishad has given a new dimension to the Parishad. It was established in 2010 and is working tirelessly to build Digital Bangladesh. Its objective is to provide services to marginalized people.
